Lab hours, explained
Paid plans include 60 lab hours a month. Here is what that means in practice.
- Allowance
- 60 hoursA month on Practitioner, and a month per seat on Team.
- What counts
- Time a lab is runningFrom the moment its machines are ready until the session ends. A session shuts down after 30 minutes without input, so a lab left open does not drain your hours.
- Need more hours
- Buy extra10 extra hours for $15, used after your monthly hours. A session that is already running always carries on to its end.
- Session length
- Up to 4 hoursExtend in 30 or 60 minute steps, up to 8 hours. Exam simulations run up to 24 hours.
- Labs at a time
- OneEnd a session before you launch the next. Your notes, flags and reports stay when it ends.
- Resets
- On your billing dateUnused hours do not carry over.

How does the 7-day trial work?
The trial gives you everything in Practitioner for 7 days. You add a card at checkout and nothing is charged until day 8. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.
How do I cancel?
From Billing in the app, any time. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and your notes, flags, progress and reports stay on your account. If you only need a break, you can pause billing for 1 to 3 months instead.
Do you give refunds?
Refund terms to be confirmed before launch. The full policy is on the refunds and cancellation page.
Is tax included?
No. Prices are in USD, and tax is added at checkout based on your country. Your receipt shows the tax charged.
Can I change plans?
Yes, from Billing. An upgrade starts straight away, with credit for the unused part of your current plan. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Paying yearly instead of monthly saves 2 months.
How do team seats work?
Team starts at 3 seats. Each seat is a full Practitioner account with its own 60 lab hours. You assign seats to people, reassign them when someone leaves, and pay one invoice for all of them. See Teams.
